Targeted, expertise-based content is at the heart of your digital marketing strategy. As Newfangled’s Director of Content Marketing, my job is to ensure that both elements of our content marketing service — content marketing strategy and content development — are crafted to cultivate a seamless client experience and drive meaningful marketing results. 

In addition to serving as a marketing writer for a small number of clients, I manage our staff of content strategists and writers, develop and carry out the vision for Newfangled’s content marketing service, and keep operations within the department running smoothly. 

My career trajectory has been more of a winding path than a straight line. I’ve worked as a project manager, acquisitions editor, pastry baker, organic farmer, and food writer, among other quirky occupations. But marketing writing, editing, and people management form my true professional home base.

When I’m not at my desk, you can find me reading, baking sourdough bread or pies, doing yoga, walking in the woods, catching live music shows, and spending time with my two sweet kiddos.
