The Marketing Assessment

The first thing we’ll do together is a one-month, comprehensive review of your firm’s business development function. What does your current marketing plan look like? How do you sell? How long is your sales cycle? What does a phenomenal customer look like? How long do they stay with you? What’s their LTV? Who are your primary competitors? This requires some work on your part, but we run the process. We’ll know where you’ve buried the skeletons by the time we’re done, but your secret is safe with us.
After we’ve learned what we need to know about you, we then perform extensive research to discover the fastest path to ideal new business wins for your firm. We find out where your audience is, how expensive it will be to engage them, what your competitors are doing, and where the easy wins are hiding.
At the end of the month, we will provide and present a comprehensive report with all of our custom findings. These recommendations are Newfangled-agnostic. You can choose to implement our findings on your own, with a different partner, or with us. Most firms do continue to work with us in some capacity. In any case, we will provide multiple approaches that make sense budget-wise for a firm like yours.
The offerings we present fully take into account your marketing strengths and the marketing activities you and your team love doing, and have proven you will do, consistently, every month. It is not our objective to step in and take over. It is our objective to meld with your firm, and fill in all the gaps to ensure that between the two of us, you will have a world-class marketing operation fully functioning as soon as possible.
Pricing
So, what should you be spending on your marketing? Most mature B2B firms spend 3-6% of their annual revenue on marketing. If you’ve got aggressive marketing goals, that percentage increases. For example, a reasonable monthly marketing spend for a firm that’s doing $5M in annual revenue would be in the $10 – $25k/mo. range. This price would include both what you invest in marketing services and your monthly ad spend. Adjust accordingly based on your revenue. While we love helping firms like yours achieve levels of success they’ve never before experienced, we’re not able to work with everyone. We should be able to determine basic fit during the first conversation you have with us.
Many firms we work with have struggled to get much marketing of any kind done prior to working with us, and most don’t spend much on marketing outside of our services, although we love it when they do. Our work together should be enough for you to confidently check the marketing box for your firm.
