Writers live by the adage “show don’t tell,” and that certainly carries over into content marketing. Good content strives to inform, engage, and excite your audience, and you can do that by demonstrating your firm’s expertise to an audience hungry to learn more.
Sometimes that’s easier said than done. There’s nothing worse than staring at a blank doc trying to figure out where to start or making sense of the myriad ideas swirling around your head. That’s where I come in. As a content marketing strategist, I help you devise not only great pieces of content but an overarching strategy to drive traffic and conversions. What should you publish and when? What kind of content will resonate the most? Let me show you.
My formal education (an English lit degree from the University of Pittsburgh and an MFA in poetry from Chatham University) afforded me the opportunity to leverage my skills in the digital marketing world. Poetry taught to convey powerful messages as succinctly as possible—pretty handy for content marketing. From copywriting to content strategy, I’ve worked with clients in countless industries and know the best path for your content’s success is understanding and celebrating your firm’s unique voice and mission.
Outside of work and writing, it’s a pretty safe bet I’m playing one instrument or another. I love folk music and enjoy nothing more than strumming on my ol’ banjo. I’m also a competitive bagpiper (yep, that’s a thing). My band has competed across the US, Canada, and Scotland.
