Frog Design’s Ben McAllister asks Why Does Data Tracking Bother Us? in a post about the hidden future costs of tracking technology.
Along a similar train of thought, WIRED UK columnist Russell Davies asks How Would You Feel if I was Reading Your Email? in an article about the more mundane future of a culture grown used to tracking.
After reading these two posts, among others, I couldn’t restrain myself and posted my own analysis/rant about privacy, Privacy is Not a Place. The bit that I think will be of interest to you is the 22-minute interview with 37 Signals founder Jason Fried, who candidly discusses different ideas he’s tried out in order to cut down distractions and make the workplace productive again.
