Prior to Newfangled, I worked for both agency and in-house marketing teams in B2B and B2C industries, with a particular focus on paid media lead-generation and sales. I was also a multimedia journalist for Florida’s largest newspaper before earning a Ph.D. in mass communication from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. I taught journalism and public relations courses and conducted media research for nearly a decade.
I live in East Lansing, MI, with my two amazing kids. We enjoy cooking and eating good food, DIY projects, gardening, sailing, and generally spending as much time outdoors and on the water as the weather allows.
