Fixed a bug where sorting content by ‘Time on Page’ was not functioning properly. This was an issue wherever ‘Time On Page’ appears as a column and has been corrected system-wide.
Fixed a bug that could cause screenshots for ‘untracked’ content (i.e. content that is not present in the Content Reports) from rendering properly. This was happening on the Traffic Report lists.
Fixed a bug where viewing the Traffic Reports and filtering by a time span that had no data in Google Analytics would result in an error page.
Added ability to refresh dashboard KPI if the visitor count data was not pulled from GA.
Updated dashboard KPI Google Analytics connection to cache a backup of the previous data received, which will be shown in the event that the most recent data pull did not succeed successfully.
Updated Content Reports to properly format the display content types with multiple words separated by dashes. For instance, a content item with a post type defined as ‘case-study’ will display in the reports as ‘Case Study’.
Newfangled Plugin Suite – January 2021 Release
Gravity Forms/Act-On Connector 2.1.4
Improvements to the processing of form entries that are ‘unmarked’ as spam to ensure that no cookie processing takes place for the admin performing the action.
When you are using an Akismet key to automatically flag Gravity Forms submissions as spam, these submissions go into a folder in the Gravity Forms ‘entries’ view labeled spam. From there, there is a link to ‘unmark’ a submission as spam. When this happens, the submission is then pushed to Act-On. This fix ensures that no incorrect pageviews are associated with that new contact in Act-On.
Gravity Forms/Act-On Integration 2.1.3
Added a new setting to manually set the IP address for the Act-On marketing subdomain. This can be set if your server has local DNS settings that prevent it from seeing the publicly set DNS record for the marketing subdomain (i.e marketing.yoursite.com). You should only need to set this if we detect an issue with your site being able to push form submissions to Act-On.
Cleaned up the Gravity Forms > Act-On settings fields and help notes, providing more detailed descriptions of the various required fields.
Webinars 2.3.6
Added ‘nfwebinars_redirecturl’ filter to allow the redirect URL that happens after a Gated Content form has been completed to be customized.
By default, when a visitor completes the registration form for a past or upcoming webinar, they are then redirected back to the post URL with a hash of ‘#webinar-registered’ appended to the URL.
Using this new filter, you can optionally override this functionality, either omitting the hash altogether or replacing it with something else.
Fixed a bug that was preventing Webinar access codes from functioning properly. This was resulting in the registration form from continuing to appear even after the correct access code has been submitted.
Insight Engine Connector 2.2.9
Include “with Content Upgrade” to the post type sent to the Insight Engine for content that contains an associated Content Upgrade. This will allow (for example) Articles to be reported on separately from Articles containing a Content Upgrade.
Note that once the plugin has been updated, you will need to run the ‘Resync Content’ tool in the Newfangled Insight Engine Connector plugin settings.

Gated Content 2.4.7
When viewing a Content Upgrade in a WP admin list or edit screen, a list of posts where the Content Upgrade has been embedded will now be shown.
Improved content upgrade Gutenberg block detection to ensure that posts with embedded content upgrades are flagged to appear in Smart CTA rotations.
Fixed misc PHP notices/warnings.
