1995: It Was Love at First Site...

The Newfangled Name:

Our original name was Old Fashioned and Newfangled Graphics. Old Fashioned referred to wood engraving and fine press printing services. However, because the demand for websites quickly outpaced the demand for wood engravings, we began to focus all of our attention on the web and dropped Old Fashioned from our name.

By 2000, we replaced Graphics because it no longer did justice to our technical capabilities, and we changed our name to Newfangled Web Factory.

Back in 1995, when the allure of the world wide web was just beginning to draw the attention of the general public, we were already falling head-over-heels in love.

We have been designing and developing websites since before Netscape, before Internet Explorer, before anyone ever considered "Googling" anything. A lot has changed since then, but our passion for developing websites has only intensified over the years. The web is truly a communication revolution no less profound than the invention of the printing press. Everyone here at Newfangled may love the web for different reasons, but we all share a common passion: to build and design sites that perform so well that our clients and their customers will love them as much as we love building them.
