Designing for the web can be really fun. Unlike other mediums, where you might not be sure exactly how things will look until you get back a proof from the printers, or see color separations, there is an immediacy to web design, where what you design is exactly how it will look.
Of course, there are many challenges and frustrations as well. Some of the technical limitations we face on the web can be perplexing, and losing some of the typographic control we are used to when designing for print can be hard to contend with. Hopefully the tips and techniques offered in this newsletter will help you to avoid some of the technical pitfalls and begin to enjoy the web design process. Once you have worked through a few layouts and begin to feel comfortable with the medium you will find web design very freeing and exciting... you may never want to go back to print!
Of course Newfangled is always here to review your layouts to make sure they'll work on the web.
