Continuing on the theme of my last couple of posts, I'm very excited to see that Canon is sponsoring real HD video on Vimeo, my favorite video sharing site.

For comparison, here are two streaming screenshots from a small stop-motion animation that I made with a friend in January (my first digital HD production):

Pretty much no comparison, eh? I also like that Vimeo fits their player to the aspect ratio of the creator's content. (They have also increased the quality and size of non-hd videos.)
