How Do You Say Thank You?

August 24, 2007 at 3:57 PM by Able

In the service business, it's critical to let your clients know that they are appreciated. To give them an honest sense that you enjoy(ed) the work you were able to do for them. Each week, some of us gather around a table here, and discuss how we can better serve our clients. We are currently reading through "Zingerman's Guide to Giving Great Service," and although I don't agree with everything author Ari Weinzweig has to say about service, it is a great reminder as to how critical our relationship with each client really is.

So, in the spirit of thankfulness, I created the photo you see below. I had been thinking about how we are almost completely a "paperless" company, and how we don't really offer a tangible "thing" to our clients. (I am sure that they would like it if we gave them a new computer in which to use their newly published website on, but let's not get any ideas...) Shredding paper, and spelling out the words "Thank You" seemed to be a logical thing to do. A handmade greeting card made from shredded paper is what I offer to you, our loyal Newfangled client, to say "Thank You."

I love your photo. Could I use it occasionally? I'm on an elist where I like to use images and words in replies, and yours is the finest "thank you" in 13 pages of google hits.
