NewfangledCMS: Advanced Website Tracking
Find out what happens after the click.
The NewfangledCMS advanced tracking system records every page viewed by individual visitors when they have responded to tracker-initiated marketing efforts.Tracked visits result from email newsletters, online ads, site alias (www.company.com/alias), or even clicks from organic Google search results. The visitor's page views are recorded and added to their individual visitor profile. Visitors with known email addresses (resulting from email newsletters, for example) are identified by their email address. Anonymous visitors are assigned a generic id number until they voluntarily submit their email into a site form.
Complete individual session information is extremely helpful when following up with prospects. Running the prospect's email address through the tracking system pulls up a history of all their sessions and page views to review before following-up. Knowing the frequency, depth, and specific information read by a visitor before follow-up helps to tailor an educated and helpful response.
An individual's history is interesting, but group information is even more helpful for analyzing site effectiveness. All trackers are assigned to tracking groups. Tracking group statistical data, such as most commonly viewed pages, can help determine the effectiveness of targeted marketing efforts.
